In 2022 Emilie Walmsley (Head of Animation at Eddy) asked me : What would you do if you could create a minute of animation with total freedom ?

It took me a few weeks to assemble a bunch of references from cinema and video games industry. I started the storyboard with 33 shots and ended up with 9. Once the production team approuved the animatic, it took 6 weeks to achieve this short video.

Fuk U is a tribute to 80’s and 90’s action movies. The one where unknown mercenaries get killed by dozens. It was a good challenge to find a balance between violence and humour,  with dark tones in the background treatment mixed with an absurd narrative.

And super talented June McGrane did the voiceover.
